I like the Poetic Atmosphere. It's slim, pretty rugged, inexpensive, and mostly transparent, so it doesn't spoil the shape or appearance of the phone. It is plastic, so there's no more feel of metal, but other than that, it's the closest thing to going bareback that I was able to find.

I just got this. It's got a good warranty, it's transparent so you can still see your phone through the case (which was a big sell for me), and it was highly recommended in a thread on /r/Android. And it's $13.

I haven't actually received mine yet, but I figured it was worth mentioning.

Going from Amazon its four stars with tons of reviews. Most people aren't going to read the actual review on a $9 case with a 3 year warranty.

I want to get this one, but currently have the HTC double dip flip.
