This. I highly recommend something in the Icebreaker Cool-Lite line. I specifically have it in button down form and it's amazing. Icebreaker Cool-Lite Compass Long Sleeve Shirt. I'm not sure what weight mine is.
I've actually worn this in August in Wisconsin\Michigan over a Icebreaker Cool-Lite t-shirt and I never felt too hot. Probably 70s. Though obviously better not over another shirt. I use it to protect against the sun and bugs so I don't need to carry and apply sunblock or insect repellent. Plus I can vent easy with the buttons.
Also used it in Colorado mountains in September as kind of a base layer.
