The awesome thing about this hybrid is that the glass is much more pliable and not as brittle as normal glass protectors. As a result, it's kind of like the new sapphire-hybrid display that the iPhone 6 is going to use. Pliable, bendable, not brittle, yet still high up on the hardness scale. In addition, it's also thinner than the thinnest traditional glass protector, coming in at around 0.12mm (instead of the 0.23 or greater that glass ones use)
