With that said... What I find helps when I tweak my back is one of those inversion tables. combined with a huge dose of ibuprophin. Seriously, I do like 1000 mg of Motrin, wait for it to kick in, then slowly invert on the table. Excruciating pain at first. Don't go all the way inverted. As you adjust, slowly invert further and further until fully inverted. Hang that way for a few minutes and do some twisting stretches. Then....
POP
Something will slip back into place. For a brief moment: White hot pain that all but makes me cry. But just as suddenly as it came, the pain leaves. I take myself back to vertical and.... Voila!
The back will be sore for another day or two but otherwise I'm right as rain.
