I quickly realized after I bought mine that I needed some external storage. If space is the issue, about the only feasible option is the Kingston Wi-Drive. It has a 16- and a 32GB model. I just load movies onto it and play from the app. Yeah, it runs as its own WiFi network and you need the app for it to even work. Plus, it's FAT32 so there's a 4GB filesize limit. I haven't tried Google Play for movies because I have Netflix, which if you're a movie buff like me with a rooted CM7 KF you should probably try. And I always heard OTA Rootkeeper worked fine--I don't know what the deal is there.

Get something like this: http://www.airstash.com/

You stick a SD card in it and it can connect to your iPad over wireless. You charge it by plugging it into a usb port somewhere.
