I use an old go pro. It's a hero 3+ silver, does 1080, great in daylight but not that good at night, it's a bit dark .
It's attached with a strap mount from Amazon. Not sure what would happen in a fall. Hopefully it would just fold up or the mount would pop open. Edit: I use the open back cover otherwise the sound won't get in, . Unless it's absolutely pouring with rain, then I use the full enclosure back.
