Walmart should have some... but FYI my target carries the coleman propane tanks, but I don't think I have ever seen isobutane canisters.

Not a problem if you have one of those adapters, although I have never actually tried using a cannister stove with propane. They also make a similar adapter for foodservice butane...but good luck balancing a stove on one of those skinny tanks.

I have a bunch of them - MSR pocket rocket, Kovea Titanium stove, 2 cheap ones off Amazon. Only difference is the name brand ones feel more solid. If I could buy and try another, it would be the BRS stove, http://www.amazon.com/BRS-Ultralight-Camping-Outdoor-Cooking/dp/B00NNMF70U

I also use the Kovea LPG adaptor so I can use propane cans with these stoves when car camping: http://www.amazon.com/Kovea-LPG-Adaptor-Small-Silver/dp/B00CFPISZW

Get one without an igniter, as they all go bad sooner or later. Just bring a lighter to light the gas.

The closest I can find to an actual stove is something like this. I suspect you can find cheaper ones on Amazon if you really look.

An actual adapter also exists to convert the small POL propane connector to the Lindal connector used on most backpacking stoves. /u/hikingjim covered this on his blog here and here

I'm also curious why you're looking for this, as it's a pretty unusual setup and has some definite safety concerns. If you're just trying to save a little money because you already have propane, I'd really suggest getting an Etekcity stove and a canister of isobutane, which will be cheaper than the adapter and much safer.

Its possible with an adaptor like this.

How well it would perform using fuel other than what it was designed for is anyone's guess.

I checked around on ebay only saw one "G-works" for $27 that was exactly like the one shown.

There are others results that show a different model like this one

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2016-Apr-New-Upgrade-G-Works-LPG-Multi-Gas-Adapter-33g-Ultralight-Duralumin-/321532667084

That says it's the same weight, but is shaped different to the one above.

There's a similar one on Amazon, almost the same price if you have Prime.

He mentions the older Kovea adapter

https://www.amazon.com/Kovea-LPG-Adaptor-Small-Silver/dp/B00CFPISZW

It was a Lightning deal earlier in the week for $17 or so, and there was a massdrop several months ago for about the same price. I picked up a couple, figured I'd try them out car camping, but haven't really used them yet.

The G-Works adapter looks pretty nice. If I'm carrying around 1LB tanks I'm not too concerned with the weight of the adapter, so I don't think I'm going to upgrade.

I wonder how pairing the Kovea LPG adapter with my BRS-3000T would work? :D hmmm...

The adapter in the picture is the kovea adapter:

> MSR Dragonfly

Nice. The Dragonfly is solid; there's a reason they keep producing it 20-years on.

You can buy [a damper](http://www.amazon.com/QUIETSTOVE%C2%AE-SILENT-MUTER-DAMPER-CAP/dp/B00ZO4T3UU
) for it if you want to quiet it down. In the demos I've seen, it cuts the sound at least in half.

If you want to burn LPG canisters, keeping one of these in your pocket is a nice backup:

For Coleman propane bottles, there are these adaptors.

I think, maybe, possibly, This might work.
