There is a Hotel Dusk Sequel that went unreleased in the US. I bought and played an imported copy (amazon) just fine--no region locking. I actually liked it better than the original.

>I spent too much money on the second game.

Oh shit, I just looked it up, it's going for nearly $150 on Amazon.ca. I remember when I got a 3DS a few years ago and checked out The Last Window, it was only around $20 or $30. Should've bought it then ... Damn.

I get you, man. There was some J-Pop I really liked, but wasn't available here in the States. The one place that I could import it from cost about $40 shipped (the album itself was only about $15-18 total). I was hoping to find a free download somewhere, but there were none. I ended up getting it anyway, but that had to be the most expensive album I bought. I could have bought two or three albums with that much. It's a pain when stuff gets limited to specific regions. Or even if it gets limited to smaller quantities. I was excited to see there was a sequel to Hotel Dusk, but was really disappointed it never got released in the US. Looking at the price to import it, it's really hard to justify when that same amount of money could buy a whole lot more game. Steam sales have really spoiled me. But even if I stuck with Nintendo games that's two brand new 3DS games right there. Fortunately some ROM sites have it though.

I just rip all my CD's to digital files. Then the CD's just sit there. What's really weird is going to the store to buy music is cheaper than getting the lossless version on Beatport or other sites because they charge extra if you don't stick with mp3s. You'd think a digital file would be cheaper because you downloaded a copy from a server as opposed to something that took time to be manufactured and shipped somewhere. Usually I'll try and put as much as I can on my iPod, but since i set up a Plex server, I can stream it all whenever I want.
