the condoms are for LAN parties. </joking>

I don't have the book on me now, but according to David Levy in Love and Sex with Robots, there has been at least one documented case of a heterosexual male transmitting an STD to another heterosexual male via love doll. They were both sailors.

Holy shit... after seeing this, I went to link Zoltan's Lab and I found out that Zoltan has retired! NOOOOooooOoooOooooo!!!!

Thankfully, Archive.org is here to save the day.

In complete seriousness, I highly recommend reading David Levy's Love and Sex with Robots.

edit: I can't figure out how to get the Archive.org link to work. The markup keeps inserting a less-than sign, regardless of whether I try to escape the first 'h' or the last frontslash between the two http addresses. Anyone know how to fix this?

I love all the upvotes and discussion this one comment of mine is creating. Well to answer everyone's burning question ":(......:)" is something that I put up to say "sad face......smiley face".

You see, at first I was sad at the prospect that I wouldn't get a chance to use this amazing line until they had robot girlfriends/boyfriends but then I was happy again because I remembered that I just started reading this awesome book which is actually became the author's PhD thesis. For those too lazy to click the link the title is "Love and Sex with Robots: The Evolution of Human-Robot Relationships" by David Levy. I heard about it a couple years back when he was on the Colbert Show, saw it recently in my library, and it's definitely worth a read. Apparently it's all going to start happening within the next couple of years like the next 2-3 years. He makes a rather compelling case for it.
