unfortunately, no. i've heard good things about the plantronics. and i have used HyperX cloud II and mostly hear good things about any hyperX. i also have a50 (gen 3) and while they have good thump, they arent worth 300. i've used TB 800x and 420x and 420x+.



after xbox/windows added vss, HyperX Cloud II are for sure my favorites (maybe except for them not being wireless). i'm waiting to buy 1 of these also:

Reliable so far (5+ friends have them, zero issues)

Clear voice chat (me, and all friends with them sound great)

Have to charge them (I charge nightly, although once in a while miss a charge and still OK the next day)

Only stereo sound (however you can still hear stuff "behind" you regardless, if that makes sense)

Takes up a USB port w/ wireless receiver

USB dongle is somewhat bright and blinks while not connected, can be distracting if you plug into a font port and your Xbox is in view

I haven't seen a good 7.1 for consoles. They all get complaints about dead zones. I'm waiting for the LucidSound LS35X, but it's gonna be a little while.

True. The 420x+ are much more affordable. I say probably after about 3-4 hours. If you wear glasses though forget about it. I’ve been using the LucidSound LS35X for about 2 months now. I really like them! The sound quality is good and they actually get pretty loud. My only real complaint is being able to get the sweet spot on the overall sound and the chat/game mixer can be a bit finicky.

Muting is just hitting the right earcup button and the mic even has a red light so you know you’re muted, and you can mute game and chat audio quick by hitting the left earcup button. Sound quality is solid on the mic, and have never heard any complaints from my gaming buddies. Any other questions just let me know.

Atmos according to features. The intuitive controls are a huge plus. The set I have now has a nice adjustable microphone with a light to let me know when I'm muted without fumbling through menus

Right now the RIGS are the best wireless for the Xbox. But this headset might be better when it cones out at the end of March.
