Definitely look into them to see if they're your type of games. They're both story driven, first person, post apocalyptic, kinda survival, kinda horror, shooters. I say kinda because the survival aspect is just ammo and basic supply preservation, and the horror aspect is mostly just: "Are you afraid of monsters and or the dark". They are neither conventional genre, they just pull from those genres. In my own opinion, they are my all time favorite games, hands down. I freaking love them, and I can't wait for Exodus, which pulls from the open world genre for the franchises first time as well. Like I said, it's my opinion, but I hope you give them a shot and fall in love like I and so many others did. There is a subreddit for the games, as well as a book series if you're into that.

No I think you could get them for half off if you owned them on Steam and pre-ordered but that deal was for PC only. $50 retail for the two pack on PS4.
