If it's something like a: clothing store, record store, deli, or car shop, you could probably get away with something like Daft Punk, Pixies, or (if you want to get more obtuse) Venetian Snares.
If it's more of an office environment (or close) that's trying to give off a professional attitude and would prefer more of a low-key atmosphere, I would recommend Massive Attack, Suburban Kids with Biblical Names, The Unicorns(They're also on iTunes if you want MP3 format). Keep in mind, I'm basing this more off of what I enjoy listening to, since I don't really know what the age ranges of the people you are working with is like.
