I'll just leave this here for the next repost

Do not forget that they really, truly wanted the show to be about The Wizards instead of Workaholics but were told to not try and get that show made (I forgot who told them to not even mention it. Maybe an agent or something). The Wizards are featured on an episode (the episode where Adam goes into the bodybuilding competition). They still tried to present it as a show and basically given an "absolutely not!". So they snuck them into an episode of Workaholics. They also have a Wizards album that came out in 2009 called Purple Magic (last I checked it was on Amazon mp3 for $7.99). The Wizards rap group also has Kyle (Karl in the show) as the 4th member of the group (Blazer, Ders, Kyle rap and Adam is the "hype man"/guy who sings the hooks).

EDIT: It looks like I bought it during a sale or something since it is up to 7.99 now. link for the lazy

EDIT 2: I am not associated with them (I wish I was), but please buy their album. If they get enough sales, maybe they will make another album. The rap they did at, I think it was Comic-con, was one of the songs from the album. Also, best line in the album, which Ders says, "And those that know me know I'm dealin the realness and they can feel this like a dope set of real tits". Yep, that line was also later put on Workaholics once again when Ders had his rap battle at the gathering of the juggalos. I watch that show way too much when I know these intricate details (like I said, I am pretty sure I need to be best friends with those 4.)

The soundtrack is available on iTunes internationally, however you may need to wait for your timezone to hit midnight on the 23rd of May to be able to purchase it. It is, however, available on the following iTunes store regions:

You can now listen to a sample of each track HERE.
I'm disturbed about the last track (which could be used of the last scene), the name is "For the Realm", it is a harp version of the main title.
To me, harp = Rhaegar.

Also remember this: Just because it's for a movie doesn't make the song any less special. Just because it's lyrically tied with a moive, doesn't mean it has no meaning. Movie or not, Tyle writes what he wants to. Be proud clique. The boys are growing up <3 |-/

u/TacticianRobin · 13 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

It's also on Amazon US, but doesn't look like it's on the Google Play store yet.

u/megatom0 · 13 pointsr/asoiaf

Here is the track listing for the OST. The last two tracks are Mhysa and For the Realm. Mhysa to me sounds like it would be the track to play over the resurrection scene. It has this other worldly quality to it. For the Realm sounds like it will play over the credits IMO as I can't see it corresponding to a scene.

Off the top of my head:

  • He stipulated in his first contract that he would only be working 4 days weekly. He hides that fact until after he gets to Sirius, then announces it as if it's some organic Monday-Thursday trial run.

  • He promised his listeners Howard 101 would be a well-defined part of the enterprise staffed by radio professionals. It is currently staffed by semi-homeless people literally working for $200 per week.

  • Howard airbrushed Artie out of the show like Stalin. Years later, he finally claims that the reason Artie isn't back is because Sirius cut him out of the budget. (Not mentioning the fact that Sirius downsized Howard's worthless show and Artie's lousy $200k a year is now in Howard's pocket).

  • Howard built his empire on sexist, racist and homophobic humor. In the last 5-7 years, it's been completely removed from the show. The entire empire is now sanitized in a new political correctness, GLAAD-style.

  • His daughter released an album produced with his money and using the Stern Show's audio engineer, Scott Salem. Stern fans revolt, spamming every Howard-channel show with mentions of his daughter's single, "ZOOZAZOO" (ala Baba Booey mentions of the past). The channel never acknowledges why they have to censor the calls, they just pretend it isn't happening.

  • The show is now conducted in a lightless, musty, impenetrable cavern completely untouched by the outside world. In Sternland, it's still 1996. He's still the King of All Media and just as big as ever.

  • Last year, show's would commonly start with an unironic invocation of the phrase, "Oh, Robin, everyone is a buzz about last night's AGT." I shit you not.

Recent one that no one noticed:

  • Howard did weeks of radio pretending that he was in a negotiation saga for a second year of AGT. Howie Mandell then appeared on the show and revealed that there was no negotiation: he had signed for 2 years up-front and pretended that NBC was pursuing him for a 2nd season.

I could keep typing, but I've laundry-listed my grievances too many times.

O&A fans have no idea how good they have it. There's no competition anymore.

u/Atlas1992 · 9 pointsr/RWBY

It's legit, the track listing is here and apparently there is a sample as well, but I can't play that because I don't have a US amazon account.

Not sure what it says that they've got a tease this heavy handed on the soundtrack, but I honestly can't point to a song from the volume it could be, unless it's that track that people were calling 'Home' before now

u/robertgfthomas · 9 pointsr/LifeProTips

Sure thing! I bought two volumes of "The Greatest Video Game Music", performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra:

Emily, the oldest. She released a bizarre spoken word album recently. That is where Zoo za Zoo comes from. She writes for some super religious spiritual Jewish blog now.

Here you can buy her album.

Edit: the album was mixed by....SCOTT!!! the engineer

u/ReducedToRubble · 8 pointsr/gameofthrones

Here's the whole list. The song immediately following [asos](#b "is called The Heir to Winterfell. And it's so sad and mournful.")

And the song after is probably from E10, but it's chilling.

u/beavenour · 7 pointsr/ToolBand

This Amazon listing shows it as track 1.

u/UserNotAvailable · 6 pointsr/ArcherFX

Well, she has an album out.

u/videoRater · 6 pointsr/Music

This is the song from the 1987 and 1988 Crystal Light National Aerobic Championships.

Video of the 1988 championship.

It's also on Amazon, Google Play, and Spotify. If you have questions or want it released on other platforms, I suggest you contact the Association of National Aerobic Championships. I contacted them a few days before they released it on iTunes, and they sent me an email shortly after it was released, so I think they are the ones who released it.

u/SSTuberosum · 6 pointsr/videos

If I remember it right when the comedy video Aerobics Meltdown was posted on reddit, someone find and link the original 1988 Crystal Light National Aerobic Championship THEN someone else actually hunted down one of the member of the production team to ask if they can put the full version of the song on the internet and about two days later it actually appear on Amazon.

Edit: It appear that the song was released on amazon (November 7, 2014) and iTunes before the Key & Peele video (November 20, 2014). Can't find the original thread.

u/CY4N · 6 pointsr/dubstep

Christian Dubstep

Yes this is an actual release, I would not listen to myself seeing as there is no artist tags and it has "Dubstep Remix" on the titles. Gave me a good laugh though.

u/chaosmaster97 · 6 pointsr/NintendoSwitch
u/YourKillingMeSmalls · 5 pointsr/AskReddit

I got this on amazon for 5 bucks, it was a great pickup. They have tons of different collections of the top 50 or top 100 songs from different eras or composers. For a 5 spot, it's absolutely worth picking up and diving in to classical music.

u/WorkingMouse · 5 pointsr/atheism
u/lordnecro · 5 pointsr/Music

The 99 Darkest Pieces Of Classical Music isn't bad too. But not as festive.

u/messem10 · 5 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

It is out on Amazon and might come out on Google Music.

Also, iTunes has been DRM-free for awhile now.

u/Throwitallaway8898 · 4 pointsr/RWBY

The lyrics in the preview snippet on Amazon are pretty explicitly talking about "love" and if it's a platonic love it's a really damn weird platonic love, lol:

>But they watch us, and they know

>And they’re happy as they see our love grow

>We’ll sit for a while, as I drink in your smile

>It feels like a dream that’s come true

>My head starts to buzz and my heart fills with love over you

>Baby can’t you see

>You could be with me

>We could live inside a

As explicit as this is and as hard it is to explain away as anything else, I'm not gonna let myself get my hopes up until there's some real REAL explicit hinting in the show.

u/jacktiggs · 3 pointsr/hiphopheads
u/speed_demon92 · 3 pointsr/AskReddit

The Raft of the Medusa

Not only because its a stunning piece of art, but it has some connotations to the event of being set adrift into an endless void, in the hope of finding aid. The sense of loss and madness, the yearning to live, the desire and power of the human spirit to survive in tumultuous circumstances. It's all there.

One album, well that would have to be THIS compilation of great pieces of classical music. No modern album could do our planet justice. Sure, there are more recent choices, but there's such a range of emotion and feelings you get from classical music, it would be a great place to start any new music collection for a world.

As for a book, I think a heavily, I'm talking HEAVILY edited and modernized rendition of the Old Testament would be the best. I'm not particularly religious, and I'd hate to think the words would divide people in the future as they have on Earth, but I think streamlining it and keeping it simple, and regarding it as a work of fiction would make for a really good story. At its root, there are tons of lessons about mankind, faith, and the human condition that can be gleaned from the Old Testament. Not to mention the influence that those stories have had upon cultures all over the world. I mean, think... the tree of life, creation, the deluge, exodus, the tower of Babel, David and Goliath.... Could you imagine a world without those lessons and metaphors in some form? Just keep those crazy sequels starring Jesus and Muhammad far away from me!

u/Call_Me_Metal · 3 pointsr/DestinyTheGame

Darn, I checked for it and didn't see it. Just found it. Feeling dumb... Yet happy!

Soundtrack on Amazon

u/Porsche95turbo · 3 pointsr/EliteDangerous

Hi, welcome to the Elite Dangerous community. I'm by no means an expert, and I'm sure others will have a different opinion than I do, but I'll try to answer your questions in order.

  • Elite Space ETS (and that's admittedly what I play it for) but you can also be an explorer, bounty hunter, miner, or a pirate. It's very much choose your own destiny. You'll likely wind up doing a little bit of everything to start out with and you'll find what fits best for you

  • "mile wide, inch deep" is unfortunately a bit subjective. There's no main quest to follow if that's what you're asking. As I said above, it's choose your own adventure and each career will have it's own challenges.

  • I would highly recommend getting the season 2 expansion. It adds a ton of content for not a lot of money. We're about 1/2 of the way through this season in terms of content being added and while you could technically just buy the base game, there will be a lot of things you miss out on.

  • You wind up grinding in Elite when you play it incorrectly. This will probably be the point in my post some members will disagree with the most but if you just play the game and avoid getting tunnel vision on one particular facet you'll have a great time. If you really want that new ship, rank, Engineer, etc you can grind to get it, but you don't necessarily have to play that way.

  • I would say it'd be hard to play less than an hour. The game's pace tends toward a bit longer play session, but not Civ5 levels of long.

  • Ignoring the PvP for a minute, I've gone days without seeing anyone and then the next thing I know it feels like the whole galaxy decided to come join me. While this may seem rather obvious if you take part in a community goal, you'll see more people. If you head off in the opposite direction of a community goal, you'll see hardly anyone.
On PvP, there are some organized events for PvP but most of the time PvP finds you. :)

  • There is a soundtrack. I think it's available on Spotify as well.

  • There's a keybind for being able to look around the cockpit. I have mine set to middle mouse button, but you can rebind almost everything.

  • I prefer Steam just because it's one less thing to hassle with.

  • I have a T-Flight HOTAS X and absolutely love it. I wouldn't recommend playing the game without a joystick of some kind however. There will be a bit of "discussion" about what joystick is best, but for entry level the T-Flight is fine IMHO.

Hope this answers your questions! Hope to see you in the black

u/tendeuchen · 3 pointsr/ToolBand

Yeah, it's a real shame Amazon hasn't had every Tool album ever available upon release for the past 20 odd years or so. 🤷‍♂️

u/darrenduje · 3 pointsr/classicalmusic

Start with pieces you might already know: Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachmusik, Beethoven's 5th Symphony, etc. London Symphony's 50 Greatest Pieces of Classical Music is a great place to start (although heavy on the romantic era):

I found that the lightbulb went off for me when I understood the forms (sonata, rondo, theme/variations, scherzo, etc.). Being able to recognize the themes in sonata form, for example, made me feel grounded in the piece. Without that understanding, I felt lost and didn't understand what the composer was doing.

  1. I had no idea how much re-writing has been done recently to the rules! WOW.

  2. That it has to be six months before you can do a re-intro post.

2.5. That my connection SUCKS today but Bleu is so amazingly awesome that I don't care bceause I can hear her sweet voice - even though it's quivery to me. (And I laughed out loud at "Do I hear a train coming - choo chooo?" in the reporting video!)

If I were the director I would do it this way: [ASOS](#b "The RW is happening as Arya is fast approaching The Twins. Once Robb and Cat have been dealt with it then shows the whole massacre in a slower motion shot with "The Rains of Castamere" being played. Then it shifts to Arya running when the hound knocks her out to a black screen playing to the credits to "The Rains of Castamere". Then I would start episode 10 with a slow motion zoom/pan out of the Freys/Boltons/Lannisters throwing GreyRobb {stuffed with arrows} into the river while the song "Heir to Winterfell" plays")

The London Philharmonic recently put together a video game music collection with that arrangement in it.

I really like the album, I bought it when it was 3 bucks. The Uncharted theme is simplistic, but emotional. The fact that angry birds was on there made me angry, but it wasn't a bad song. I audibly gasped when I recognized Mass Effect's Suicide Mission theme.

u/stevenomes · 1 pointr/ToolBand

You also can get on amazon as mp3. Not sure if the link will work but you can try it. Also if you have prime I think it's available because I was listening to it earlier on prime music I don't have music unlimited.

I guess there's even more than one? I saw VGO (Video Game Orchestra) at PAX East last year and they were stellar.

And maybe not dedicated, but a CD of game music by the London Philharmonic exists and is fairly decent. It's worth the cost just to hear the Angry Birds theme done by a full orchestra, and I'm not even a fan of that game. Amazon link here.
