Personally, given the cost of R188 bearings and the huge choice which will let you taylor your spinner to your taste I would consider one of these! (Not from Amazon Singapore but the God of bearings!)

It's 40% ethyl alcohol but the other 60% is water. Not good for your contacts.
You should use pure alcohol - it's usually Isopropyl 99% in a spray or bottle.
Here's what I use - 99.9% pure Isopropyl. I like the bottle rather than the contact spray because I find using q-tips or such cleans better with the liquid.
