They're so damn cheap it's crazy not to have one around. I keep one at home and in the car. Perfect for situations where you might find yourself facing water damage.

Rainy days at Disneyland are a blast as long as you're prepared. You can look forward to lighter crowds than if it were dry, thanks to most AP's staying home. Bring:

1. Waterproof ponchos
   
   
2. Extra pairs of socks
   
   
3. Something to keep your phone dry (we used these on our last trip and they worked a treat!)
   
   
4. If you have space in your bag, a towel would be nice to have as well.
   
   
   One more word of advice: many rides shut down if there's lightning, even the tram to get back to your car. The downtime usually isn't very long though.

Waterproof can be nice, but it's not like I'm going swimming with my $800 phone whether it says it's waterproof or not.

I've used these on the beach. Probably worthwhile for hunting or dusty work environments.

The problem with that is you're not going to find what you want.

Any sealed item in a pocket, no matter the job, will inevitably wear down and lose whatever seal it has. The only solution is to get something you will actually enjoy and put it in a case or container that will hold it.

Pelican makes a wallet with a rubber gasket, and a good seal, but something like a phone waterproof bag would be something you could consider. You find them being sold at places like water parks and the like so people can post pics of their 3 year olds looking depressed in a pool. I've seen them work fine in those situations. They're on amazon for around $8 shipped.

No problems at all. Phone stayed completely dry.

I just got back from 10 days there (left 2 days after they reopened from the hurricane!) and in the days leading up, the forecast said it was going to rain every day. It rained one day for a couple hours and that's it!

I go every September, and I've noticed that most of the rain they get are short cloudbursts that don't last long and then it goes back to sunny and hot, so hauling around a rain jacket is unnecessary. Just get a cheap reusable poncho and take it around. Or, get one at the parks. They're $10, but I've used mine every year for the past 4 years! (I also take it on Kali River Rapids in Animal Kingdom)

If it looks like there's going to be a lot of rain, consider wearing some waterproof shoes or slides that dry quickly. If you're like me, there's nothing worse than wet socks and shoes!!!

ALSO, this 2-pack of phone protectors really came in handy for us this year! For $9 you can't beat it! You wear it around your neck in a lanyard and they really do keep water out.

re: cell phones... i've seen a surprising amount of people use something like this which i find amusing because they look pretty cheesy but apparently get the job done. in the past i've used something like this to carry my stuff like phone, lipstick, cards/ID into LV pool parties.

I found a cheap waterproof pouch on Amazon that I use at the pool or beach or water park! They're really handy and do a good job at protecting your phone.

I keep seeing people put their Phones in these. They arent recommended for more than I think 40 feet underwater, so you should be good. The biggest thing is making sure it stays secure and you don't lose it while on the wave runner.

This was just the brand I saw with the highest rating and a high number of reviews. I think the dimensions work but I would double check.

I use this and keep it around my neck. I've submersed it with a tissue in it and haven't had any leaks so I trust it with my phone, I've never had an issue.

My wife puts her phone in a smaller dry bag along with our keys and my wallet, which we then buckle to the front strap of my kayak.

Might not be big enough to have a giant battery case, but this one fits my Note 9 in the Samsung Rugged case (which is a decently bulky case)

You already have the case and screen protector most on this sub would recommend. The only thing I would recommend in addition to that is this. It's a plastic "pouch" with lanyard that will protect it from water if you go to the pool or beach. You can still use the phone inside the pouch and it fits even with the case on it. It's 8 bucks for a 2 pack. I keep one in my car just in-case. This is a cheap soultions to if you need to take your phone to the pool but not for unexpected wetness.

I always bring my phone off the ship to take pictures and stuff. I bought these which worked great around the water. The lanyard part of it was great for keeping it on my person.

As the other reply said, you'll probably have to use a generic waterproof phone pouch/bag because there isn't a V20-specific case that is waterproof. At least not that I've seen.

Just look up "floating phone pouch" on Amazon. I went kayaking a little while ago and in the office they were selling these. Some have IPx8 rating. You can still take photos or use your phone, through the plastic, and if you drop it in water it will float on the surface.

This is similar to the one I picked up.
