Just out of curiosity, why in the world are you buying a card like the FTW3 then trying to stick an AiO on it? Yes I know an AiO will perform better than even the triple fans, but you are paying a huge premium for that card, in part because of it's massive cooler, then ripping it's cooler off.

In reality if you're going to slap an AiO on any GPU, you should only be buying a FE card or some dirt cheap aftermarket card that still uses a reference PCB. I know Gamers Nexus recommended the MSI Armor cards for this, because the aftermarket cooler on them sucked but they still use a reference PCB. And before the crypto craze you could find them on sale for less than FE cards. You may still be able too.

Just take a quick look at what I can find available online, this MSI 1080 Ti Duke is available for just $739.99, $729.99 after rebate, and has a factory overclock on it. It appears to use a stock PCB despite being a triple fan cooler, as the PCB is shorter than the cooler and is not any wider than the cooler like all the FTW PCBs are.

1645MHz boost clock, compared to 1683MHz on the FTW3. With GPU Boost 2.0 those boost clocks will perform basically the same. You'll exceed the advertised clock speed, especially if you stick an AiO on it.

If you REALLY want an AiO for a FTW3, I would imagine EVGA will eventually release a kit for the 1080 Ti FTW cards like they did for the 1080 and 1070 cards. As it is, I would still recommend using their kits since they give you everything you need, instead of having to buy a separate AiO and bracket like you do with NZXT.

Never bought used pc components. Scares me a little honestly. Anything to watch out for?

i checked back again, it appears my video caused all the good priced ones to sell out, now the cheapest one is 909, which is 1161 canadian, albeit, thats not that bad considering how horrible the pricing was not that long ago.

  2. Can i order a GPU from USA to Europe (France) ? (i found a MSI 1080 ti duke from amazon US but i'm afraid about delivery
