No not a brand name. I have bought some that are designed to be make-up sponges. They are different sizes, so you can pick one to suit you, or trim them if necessary. There are also some sold specifically as sanitary sponges but they're exactly the same.

I just bought mine at the pharmacy (sold as cosmetic applicators). They were too big so I trimmed them to the right size with normal scissors. For me, the size of a golf ball is the right size, but it probably depends on the woman's body.
