You just need to make sure you get the correct one, it's easy to make a mistake
This is the AC adapter which is what you want. What you don't want is this which is just a charger and doesn't output enough power for the dock but will charge the Switch. Both from Nyko and look very similar.
Has anyone else experienced difficulty with the Nyko AC power cord while charging their switch? I've noticed that it only charges if the cord is plugged in one way and not the other.

It's not out yet so it's largely untested by the public, but I think Nyko's dedicated Switch charger is worth mentioning for the people like me looking for a small charger that will charge while playing. It's out August 1st.
