Nightbreaker sind total scheiße, da sie übelst schnell den Geist aufgeben und teuer sind. Welche Lampen du brauchst (H4, H2 usw.) steht in der Betriebsanleitung.

Ich kaufe die Osram Silverstar, da sie wesentlich länger halten und auch gutes Licht machen.

Die gibts auch in H4

Thanks, I'll avoid the 80-100W, partially because of legality, partially because I'm worried about burning something out, but also because I believe a decent 55W will give a brighter light than the 100W if I get a good brand like you suggested.

I wonder how the Silverstar Ultras compare to the Bosch PureLight which got rated the best headlight bulb from Which. See here for the comparison:

According to two reviews at Amazon.co.uk, the Silverstar 2 (which is brighter than the first version) aren't as bright as the OSRAM Nightbreakers, which themselves aren't as bright as the Bosch PureLight according to Which.
