I just actually did this. Finding a tap recorder you want online is the hard part, in that it can be expensive and often used. That means you need to do some research. Once you get your tape recorder use this. It works well and is easy to use.
Side note for the tape recorder. Don't get a newer recorder. You want that inherent lofi feel. Also don't forget to buy tapes!
