Sorry IWatch guy I think the big buttons on the pebble make it a much better tool in this case.
To be specific on how I mounted it. I zip tied a piece of foam to the center of my bars. Then I just use the stock strap to strap it on. I never have any problems with it sliding or falling off. I have tested it with both intense off road and intense highway speeds.
