Try replacing the stock halogens with one of the Philips Vision series bulbs. The guys on NAM love them and say they really do put out way more light without the added heat issues of some brands.

I'm not sold on HIDs, I just want something brighter. 16 bucks for two bulbs isn't bad. I'm all for eliminating the glare. I hate those guys that drive around with the blinding blue lights.
