Right Now, Amazon has the PS4 Pro w/ RDR2 available for Pre-order for $400, releasing on 10/26.

So, depending on how soon "coming up" is, it might work out...

Otherwise you're giving a lovely bit of anticipation, AND a gift.

If I were you, I'd lock in a RDR2 Pro preorder at a place that doesn't require a deposit (amazon, etc), and then if you can't find one between now and then, you're still set. And if you do find one, you can cancel the amazon order and not be billed.

If you don't already have a PS4, the Pro is the way to go, hands down.

Just get the PS4 Pro RDR 2 bundle.

They just got restocked at several retailers including the ps4 bundle with red dead redemption 2 and the ps4 itself. Both are $399 each so obviously the bundle is the better option. Btw the RDR2 bundle features the new 72xx model. Though I'm not sure about the model number of the new ps4 pro batch.
