As long as you plug it into the original Samsung charger that comes with the phone, it will do wireless fast charging.

It looks great, you don't have to look for a "sweet spot" when placing the phone on it, and the light goes off after 10 seconds for bedroom use.
I fast charge mine wirelessly and it's definitely never 'hot'. I would say slightly warm to the touch but never even very warm. I didn't realize you can check the temp, but I will look and see where it's at. Something is wrong if it's getting hot to the touch.

They both charge at the same rate, but I prefer the Pleson because it turns the LED off when charging.
Regarding "fast charging"...I have a different dock (this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06ZYLQ2TP/ ), and it's totally dependent on the adapter you plug the USB cable into. If the charger adapter is the Samsung fast charger that you get with the phone then yes, it'll fast charge. Really, unless you're trying to be brand loyal, there's no point in overpaying for the Samsung one. It's WAY more expensive than comparable wireless charging stands for no real reason. Ok, it includes the fast adapter (the part you plug in), but you already have one of those (and if you've used other Samsung phones you most certainly do) then don't pay 4x the price just because the charger says "Samsung" on it.

I have the round one but I 3d printed a dock for it, basically upgrading it into this one I linked, and it is much better and easier to use. The circular ones are hard to line up properly, especially in the dark at night. The upright dock is better.

Has good reviews, cheap, works great. It doesn’t come with the AC adapter, but other than that I have nothing but good things to say about it!
Nice! Yeah, the LED light was the one thing I was worried about because I like my room to be pitch black at night but it really wasn't too bad.
