My girlfriend has one of those. She got it as a birthday present from her mom 2 years ago and we hardly use it, but it's held up pretty well I guess. This was the closest thing I could find, but ours is a little different, but same brand.
You should read up on running/walking in the winter time. Here's the link to the /r/running FAQ regarding winter gear. And here are multiple topics discussing the issue. There's a lot of good information out there, and after reading up on it, maybe you'll be more motivated to try it out.
I find it's actually pretty refreshing doing cardio during the wintertime. It does take some getting used to, and you'll have to buy some moisture wicking, insulated clothing, but I find that it's much more enjoyable than running any other time of year (well, except maybe autumn when the leaves are changing).
