Looks fine. And don't worry about the blue on the ferrule (white part). You'll be able to get that off a damp cloth and maybe a tiny bit of soap. The top comment of this thread is great at explaining some other maintenance you can do:

If when you get it you notice a few deeper dings, you ca start by licking your thumb and rubbing the spot hard and fast for like as long as you can stand it. The moisture and then heat from friction can eventually get the wood to expand. Re lick as needed.

Don't over do it with the rough side though. I've never applied any sort of polish on my cue but it's an option.
