My mom reviews electronics for a living so we end up getting tons of new devices really often and generally need to find cables to match so things are being switched out and added in all the time. To make it more convenient instead of having to go sort through a box or into a drawer and untangle cables I wanted something super easy access to so that if i needed an hdmi , bam, I had one. Same with the others.

For the controllers I used Stick-On Game Controller Hooks 2 Pack. The snes and nes usb controllers are simply hung via a tack.


I got a simple ~$10 corkboard from walmart, used a label maker for the labels and then used CraZy TACKz 36tacks to hang the cables. I wouldn't recommend them though, a standard tack works better honestly ( In theory a hook is great but they loosen and then swing around making it a pain to re-orient them when you're taking things on and off frequently.)

The headphones under the desk is The Anchor Great adhesive, super cheap and can orient it vertically or horizontally which lets you fit two pair ( in my case one for skype/discord+gaming and the other for general use since it has better quality but no mic)

Literally just replaced my old mouse. I got a Razer Naga Hex. I'm loving it so far. I have small little girl hands and it's nice that it's not too large. I find a lot of mice to be too big. As for those two actions buttons below the scroll wheel, I just rock my finger that sits on the wheel and the base of my finger can hit them really easily. I also like that you can 'flick' the wheel to the left or right for added buttons. I very quickly added some hotkeys to accommodate such easy to get to buttons. My tiny hands thank them for it :D

Ive been using the naga hex v2 for about 4 months now and its been great!, plus I really love the positioning of the buttons on the side as thumb rest in the middle is quite natural (I wouldnt recommend if you had small hands) I also chose to buy it before realizing it was full chroma and Idc that its 16k dpi.

What's worse it that it's called the "Hex"; it has seven buttons.

I bound attack move click to my LMB, trinket to my scroll, then bound Items 1 and 7 (or whichever 2 are toughest for you to hit) to my extra mouse buttons and put my active items on those keys. A lot of mice these days have extra thumb buttons and aren't expensive at all.

But recently I bought the Razer Naga Hex mouse on sale for like $30 a few weeks ago so now i have a mouse button for every item slot lol

not sure if the Razer Hex would be of interest at all. Wired, 6 macro buttons, and is green/black. not sre on the price though.

You need to use modifiers after button 5. This is what I personally do.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, E, Shift+E, Q, Shift+Q, R, Shift+R, F

Shift+1, Shift+2, Shift+3, Shift+4, Shift+5, Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2, Ctrl+3. Ctrl+4, Ctrl+5, X, Shift+X

So that makes 2 full bars with modified keybinds. I do not like full blown MMO mouses like the Razer Naga, but I LOVE the Razer Naga Hex v2

Here is a video showcasing it off. not sure what everyone's problem is, as its not like im hampering the team anymore by using just a controller, i get to use a mouse for aiming. at the end of the day OP your control scheme is up to you and what works best. i have been using a controller for over 25 years so getting used to a keyboard has been a hell of a struggle for me, i made the switch to hybrid and games have become immensely more enjoyable for me as im no longer handicapped by joystick aiming. i used to only play co-op or characters like winston in overwatch where aiming didn't matter so i could use a controller and not hamper my team because of it.

i mostly play overwatch with mine which accepts keyboard + joystick input at the same time so i can just configure the buttons in the settings and play. other games that dont like destiny 2, i need to setup mapping to keyboard to joystick using something like xpadder.

at the end of the day, how you choose to play is up to you. if you swap to m/kb awesome and more power to you, if you stick with controller then that's fine to. gaming is about enjoyment and on pc you arent restricted to using just one set controller so find what works best for you to enjoy games and fuck everyone else :).

A bit belated, but as someone with small hands I swapped to the Razer Naga Hex v2 MOBA version and it's waaaay better for me than a regular 12 button - you only get 7 buttons but they're all around where your thumb rests. Takes some getting used to but I like it, I don't misclick nearly as much as I would trying to get a grip on a regular 12 button mouse.

I was going to suggest just buying another Hex v1 because that's what I did, but apparently they're all going for insane prices now. I bought mine 3 years ago but only recently started using it.

They do have a Hex v2 with 7 side buttons instead of 6, so that's probably the closest thing you can find to the original Naga Hex.

Razer doesn't have the best rep, but I got 2-3 years heavy play time with the previous Razer Hex, the left mouse button was a bit flaky at the end, everything else held up well.
