Also if you can find a desk that is either glass or something solid (not hollow particle board/Ikea, basically) it will really cut back the sound. It could be reverberating/amplifying through the desk into the floor.

On the right side of the desk is my HP docking station for my work laptop. I work from home a lot so it's nice to have a dock.

In the middle there is an Infinity center channel
