Honest question here but it might sound a little ridiculous at first... Does it actually have to be wireless? Why not use a thin piece of disposable wire as an antenna that unspools behind the rover as it moves and conducts the wifi signal through it? They also sell in 40AWG too. Used it an old job to solder opamps to piezoelectric sensors. It's thinner than hair and not nearly as strong either
