its completely capable of playing nes games you can even buy and adapter to play nes games on a snes and you can get one to play genesis games on a snes too i dont know how well they work because i have all the systems so its useless for me but its completely possible.

I don't think you understand. It's a piece of hardware, such as the Retrobit. It's legal to make a piece of hardware that acts as an intermediary, such as an adapter, or that reads the games itself. It's legal to manufacture adapters and hardware, just not the games themselves and rom downloads have questionable legal issues.
Here's another example. This allows the SNES to play Genesis games.
Or this for PC which lets you read them on your computer. Both are absolutely legal.
It's already been done for NES (via the Innovation Super 8 and the RetroPORT Adapter), the Sega Genesis (via the RetroGEN Adapter), and GBA (via the Super Retro Advance Adapter). The major difference being that those have their own video output and basically just use the SNES for controller input and power.

At least now anyways.
But back in the day you just buy an adapter. They still sell them today.
Well it was kind of hard to do when each new generation's cartridge had a different form factor. Here
Now play Stack Up and Gyromite.

Some Atari's were backwards compatible.

I always thought it'd be cool to try a Mother trilogy cart similar to this, using a Super Retro Advance adapter and a [Retroport NES to SNES adapter] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007A57C7W/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_3/176-6720898-4167452?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_r=11Z2FFDQN5Z8MJZHGQPY&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=1944687742&pf_rd_i=B00EXPCTQQ) and maybe some kind of hardware switch to switch between the three games. But it seems like a huge project.
Well done on this. It turned out well. Though there are only so many Super Game Boys in the world.
Well i own one of these so it was feasible in a way!
