This or this can help with your ring until your weight stabilizes and you can get it resized. :)

I personally found these less annoying than the kind that fit all the way around the band, but if you remove your ring a lot then the kind that stay on the band like the spiral would be better. I'm planning on having my wedding band fitted properly and hopefully just wear it on top so the engagement ring stays put.

Seconding this! I got a little plastic 'bar' that sits at the bottom and keeps my ring at the right size. I think I got 5 6 for 10 bucks on amazon? I've also seen ones that are gold/silver (ebay) which might be preferable for some, but I needed it right away so the cheap ones on Amazon prime worked for me! It also loosens slightly over time (and if you bend the plastic a lot - like I did).

Edit: I also found that my ring fit on my finger really well when he first proposed, but was super loose the next day, and changes every day (swelling, ugh) so the non permanency of these really appeals to me!

You could always try one of these invisible ring sizers!

They have plastic or metal thingys that you can put on rings to make them smaller Example

I'm in the same boat. Congrats on the weight loss, btw!

  1. Here's some inexpensive plastic versions. I've used variations of these in the past. Cheap and no tools required, but looks a little tackier than the metal ones (but who's looking at the ventral side of your ring?)

    Coil style

    Clippy style

    Tube style

  2. Since it's a band and doesn't have a top side, stacking rings are an "in" look right now. You usually size up 1/2 to 1 size for stacking rings anyway, so you can stack some inexpensive rings in the same size or slightly smaller to keep your band from falling off.

Warning: stacking rings will wear against each other. So this is a short term solution not a permanent one.
