EDIT: The 1TB version ($220) seems to be the best value for byte

The 2TB version is also at the all time low:

Alright, The AMD Core has more threads than the intel core i7 but has less GHz so that means it's a tiny bit slower but since there's a 150$ price difference it's very very very worth it. For an SSD I would recommend this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B071KGS72Q/ref=ox_sc_act_image_5?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

Also, Ryzen 7 2700X includes a CPU Cooler which is pretty good.

The ultra is also on sale today for the lowest it's ever been.

There is a YMMV 20% off Amex deal on Amazon which puts the Sandisk 2TB seen here at the same price point.

I've seen some of your previous posts on the Sandisk, but do you think the Sandisk is the better option between the two? I'm thinking the manufacturer support for the Sandisk (vs nothing from Micron because it's OEM) and the 64-bit NAND in the Sandisk vs the 32-bit in the Micron alone make the Sandisk the better choice.

EDIT: Didn't see your other comment about this... thanks.

You can leave the lat bay open or put a 5th SSD in. You can probably also use synologies dynamic load balancing and plug one port into each of your two switches.
