Yes, but a 3.5mm TRS cable will line up with the headphone out connections, not the microphone in connections, because the phone's connector is TRRS. It will fit, but it won't work.

Just a quick suggestion. You'll definitely need a better mic than what's on your phone. This device lets you hook up any XLR mic to your phone, so that could definitely open up your options in terms of mics that you can use.
