Ah I see what you meant now. I actually have the Bose earbuds. No replacement cable would work for this. I was thinking more along the likes of this but not sure if it will work still.

I assume you are using earbuds plugged into your FiiO? An inline headphone remote (Google "inline headphone remote") should work for you depending on your X1's revision. Onyl the remote part needs to be accessible.
