mostly so my chair would stop rolling backwards when I was playing sim racers with my wheel and pedals. It just so happens now I don't have to worry about rolling over my rift cable or my dog either ;)

Hey man you know you can replace your seat casters with glides so your good seat doesn't roll around so easily.
You may need to look around for the perfect fit but these things look like this.
