I saw this come up which is the price range you said so I thought you meant that. Either way though that literally says it can only see 30 feet so my bet is in reality it sees 15-20. I see a review claiming only 5 feet. Also according to that review you can see the lights on it with your eyes, they must be really shitty mostly IR lights that still give off some visible light.
