its great but its a shame cex prices are so bad, I can get stuff cheaper brand new at amazon than I can get second hand at cex.

In fact its more expensive as theres delivery cost added.
They need to drop their markup from the ridiculous 90-100% to about 10-15% then they will start to do some serious turnover of business.
if you don't care much for Spartacas, you can get the same collection here [blu-ray] for about $35, it's region free
If anyone lives in the UK, they can get the set significantly cheaper.
Edit: Just realized that the UK version doesn't include Spartacus and Dr Strangelove.
This may be another option. Probably about $45 shipped to the US, but there's no Sparticus or Dr. Strangelove. Also one of the special feature discs listed there is missing.
Probably nowhere near as attractive packaging, but definitely a lot cheaper.
okay so then I was backwards you will want this set
On a side note: I have never in my life seen a single bluray that doesn't provide the original audio language of the film. I also checked OFDB just to be sure and there doesn't seem to be a version without original audio for 2001 anyways.

Are you sure you didn't get ripped off? ;)

Also: Buy the Stanley Kubrick: Visionary Filmmaker Collection. It's fairly cheap and has all major movies (with the exception of Dr. Strangelove) plus the fantastic documentary 'Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures'. All for less than 30 bucks.
Edit: Oh, and a little booklet. Nothing special, but nice to have :)
