There was a seller on Amazon called UK Toy Shop or UK Toy Vendor or something that is supposedly selling the Euro variant (the box is a little different is all) for under $40, I ordered one and I'm waiting for it RN but it seems legit. I'll try to confirm if it's bootleg or not when I get mine in the next week or so.

It should be noted that the amazon.com.uk-based vendor has a different name (Niche Gift Shop) and shows slightly different packaging than what the North American guy (Toy Vendor UK) is selling. Then again, both vendors have almost identical business descriptions. shrugs Buyer beware.
