It's really quite simple!

I am going to assume you're using a carboy. If you're using an SS Brew bucket or conical fermenter, these instructions are similar but not the same.

Get yourself a sterile siphon starter from Amazon, MoreBeer, or whatever. Yes, you have to take off your old cap to put this one on so just do it quickly and make sure it's sanitized.

Grab your keg and put on the black liquid disconnect on the liquid out post. Connect the end of the sterile siphon hose to the black liquid disconnect. You'll need your normal keg fittings so the hose will fit on the barb. Don't forget to hose clamp everything down so the pressure doesn't shoot the hose willy nilly.

So now you have the carboy attached to the keg. Open the pressure relief valve on the keg, blow into the sterile siphon, and it'll start filling. When done, disconnect everything, close the PRV, and purge the head space.

Alternatively you can attach your co2 tank to the sterile siphon in (you're not using the sterile siphon white piece at this point). Give the carboy 1-2 PSI, you really need nothing to start it, and it'll push everything out into the keg.

Here's a really rough idea of what it looks like. Sorry for Instagram.
