Just got notified that the water rower I've been eyeing is on sale at Amazon for half off the normal price. I was in a similar situation. I like to row a lot when cutting but when bulking I only row a couple times a month. I just couldn’t justify the Concept 2. I bought this Sunny Water Rower off Amazon. I’ve had it about 2 years and it has been rock solid. Perfect for my needs.
I think the two are colluding at some level.

I was shopping for a water rowing machine, its usually $400, it dropped to $300 at Amazon and Walmart on Monday. I checked last night and the same machine was back up to $400 at both Amazon and Walmart! I ordered from Walmart because their 90 day returns is better than Amazon's 30 day, but they're both a necessary evil to keep the other in check unfortunately.
