I have this board: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0038GVR82/
It has been running OpenIndiana for 4 years without issue. I ran FreeNAS on it for about a year before deciding to switch.

UPDATE: Oh, didn't notice, Openbsd only supports Intel i82540, i82541, i82542, i82543, i82544, i82545, i82546, i82547, i82571, i82572 and i82573 based adapters.

So this is a no go - BUMMER!
