Painting the inside was the hardest part! I used this (amazon link) LED strip. /u/Ekrof and other people's experiments on /r/spacebuckets is where I get most of my information for this thing.

> will I need to adjust any of his current specs to accommodate that

Nah, it should work.

>What strip LEDs are y'all using?

I used these but in my experience, results were negligible

> I’m noticing some people put their fans on opposite sides and some on the same, is there a preference?

No preference. You just need air intake and air outtake. So whatever is going to create the most efficiency for your container is generally preferred.

> Will any reflective material work for the inside?

I read a tutorial somewhere about this. Basically tin foil isn't the greatest and mylar is typically the preferred reflector. I used hvac tape myself and stripped my entire bucket with it. Had really good results. Alternatively, painting the inside of your container completely white is as good if not better than mylar. I think the word still might be out on that but yeah.

Side LEDs, both are warm. No reason I chose warm, it was my first build and I just started ordering shit not knowing what I was doing haha:

Intake/Exhaust fans. I thought they were going to be too big but they worked out great. They were kind of hard to build into the side of the bucket. It just barely fit in the space from the top of my smart pot to the bottom of the bucket rim:

EDIT: Every part I used was plug n play. Everything I ordered had an a/c plug already built into it. It was probably more expensive, but it was worth it to me because I was too lazy to wire stuff or deal with power supplies.
