I use Surefire EP4 plugs for shooting big bore rifles, and well, everything else. They have a 24db NRR, are foolproof to install, and VERY comfortable to wear all day (if you get the right size.) They're even available at Walmart.
Loud noise generally gives me pretty serious migraines, so I carry a pair of these everywhere I go.
Ears: Surefire earbuds are like $15-20 on Amazon and work great! Amazon.ca
Eyes: I use my prescription sunglasses.
