I tucked all my network cables running from my wall to my wire shelf open "rack" away with split sleeving. It's much easier to deal with than a half dozen Velcro straps.

To avoid pulling on the cables, you may want to invest in extension cords. I use these (on the side that connects to the Vive):

6-ft HDMI extension: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0045532LU?ref_=pe_1763890_145073580_ste_e404_dp_1

6-ft power cord extension: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FTAM9NW/ref=od_aui_detailpages01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

6-ft USB extension: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C7S2FRE/ref=od_aui_detailpages01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Don't skimp on the HDMI extension or you may get noise (snow) on your Vive display.

I used to have the 10-ft version of these and they work well with the GTX 980Ti. When I upgraded to the GTX 1080, I saw noise in the HMD display. Traced the problem to the 10-ft HDMI extension cable. Replaced it with the 6-ft version (since I only needed 6-ft anyway) and everything is perfect. YMMV based on your graphics card.

Cool, I'll add you!

3/4" cable sleeving has plenty of room. Here's a version of it you can get on Amazon. I'm also doing the 10' cable extension from a Reddit post.
