I don't see a reference to a specific 2mm or 1.8mm thick pad on amazon and these appear to be the same pads I've seen in videos.

Sadly, one of the problems with this mod is that the whole point of it is temperatures that can't be easily monitored by software. I figure that I'll try these out and replace the pads with standard EVGA ones if I see an indication online that there's a benefit between them.

I mean, you've got to admit that's a bit strange... Whenever building a PC you'll always hear the least expensive necessary component is the PSU. But thermal paste is... like... not even considered in the pricing because of how inexpensive it is comparatively. Hell, some CPUs come with a tube of thermal paste just because they know you need it and why not. Even THE BEST THERMAL PASTE ON THE MARKET FOR THE BEST PERFORMANCE RATINGS is cheap as hell.

There's a less common 3.9g version for $11.59 that I'd say is the best bang for buck. Here's the Amazon listing for it. The page title seems to have been defaced/glitched out but I've bought three tubes from Onyx PC and they've all been legit.
