Something simple, lets talk about a kids ear infection.

As a parent with kids that get ear infections, I already know what the problem is (Hell, I even have an Otoscope to confirm myself to save a trip to the doctor if I'm wrong).

I need a $5 antibiotic. But to get that I need a prescription - Which means I need to go to a clinic and see a doctor or someone who can give me that prescription.

Thats a $75 bill - IF I go to a clinic/doctor that my insurance covers. If I go to a doctor that my insurance doesn't cover it can easily be $400.

There is a reason that the number one cause of bankruptcy in America has been medical costs.

No need to see a doc just yet if you're not in pain.

Here are two products that I highly recommend everyone own:

Look inside the port and look at the pins. Do they have any white or green corrosion building on the pins? If the pins are clean, most likely you are fine. The damage tends to occur if the pins are in contact with liquid for a period of time.
