Tomtoc Hard Storage Case is the bomb. It's thicker than most slim cases, which means I have the option to fit 2 extra joycons, or a pro controller, or a power bank, as well as other extras. Fits 18 game carts, and turns into a stand so I don't have to pack one. I have the slim case from tomtoc and really like it, but it only holds switch and 10 games.

You really have to stay with nintendo parts on the dock. 3rd party docks have been known to brick systems. Could brick them fast, could take a while but it's not worth it. Buy a second dock on ebay or something, rehouse it in that small casing you are talking about. It's really the only option. I don't know of any smaller adapters, I bought the nintendo one again for travel. It's really your best bet. I've put a ton of research and testing into these and this is the best rig for switch.
I have the larger storage version of this one (Tom Toc brand), plus the smaller switch-only version, and they are both fantastic. Extremely high quality fabric and zippers, plus looks great. I think you're looking for the mid-size, I'm sure its great too.

Quick question about tomtoc cases. I really like the look/form factor of these but I am torn between the slim and the larger case. I like the minimalism of the slim but the larger is $2 cheaper for what seems to be more. Does anyone have experience with both?
