My cat has been totally healthy on this diet. Sometimes I mix it with hot water. Has both L-carnitine and Taurine in proper amounts. When I started his diet I made sure to monitor the PH of his urine with PH chips.

Recently he's getting tired of just eating Ami so I got Evolution cat chow and Evolution wet food to supplement. He's been totally happy. Tried giving him meat wet food after switching to the diet and oddly enough he wasn't interested.

so far one amazon review claimed a color was indicated which led to a Vet putting the cat on an antibiotic. it's just hard to say how often your cat develops a problem that may later resolve itself naturally, so all this additive may have you doing is run to the Vet more often than may be necessary. a urinary tract infection may only require a diet adjustment to resolve itself, so if you use this detect product, learn more about what your cat should be eating in response to and to prevent infection, as more appropriate food will cost less in the long run than additional vet bills.
