> One thing that happened to me was that my whole charging port needed to be replaced on my Note 5. At first I thought it was my charger/charging cable but after fiddling with it it wasn't. Apparently over time and if your "rough" with your charging port when you try to plug it in and take it out it wears the actual port over time. Don't quote me on that the guy that charged me a ridiculous amount to swap that out told me. This might help you;
