Maybe I should give a bit more info.
We don't really play at official events. More a big group of friends that just wants to have some fun. We started playing in a building but now got the opportunity to play in a barn.

Nobody's really a fan of softair and using paintballs isn't a option because well...the paint.
Although we sometimes played that as well.
Now we just want something with high performance and no big modding.

Isn't it possible to just use smaller foam balls?

Markers don't seem to be that expensive. Maybe a budget one like a tippman 98. We already got access to a suitable compressor.
